Experienced Mediator
Matthew Burrows spent his last 16 years of practice as the General Counsel of one of the nation’s largest transit agencies. In managing the legal affairs for the transit district he became well versed in litigation involving labor and employment, civil rights (Including §1983 cases), personal injury and construction disputes, with an emphasis on striving for fair settlements to avoid the pitfalls of litigating cases.
His specialized mediation training was received at the Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine School of Law.
He was admitted to the California Bar in 1994 and the U.S. Supreme Court Bar in 2013.
